Intercultural Development Series

Humber Global is pleased to announce the Intercultural Development Series. This is an opportunity for students build intercultural skills and knowledge essential for fostering equitable, diverse and inclusive communities. Through a series of workshops and events facilitated in collaboration with Humber units, student ambassadors, community leaders, and partner institutions, students will engage in learning about intercultural topics relevant to their personal growth and understanding of cultural lenses, the spectrum of identity, awareness of implicit bias, and meaningful community engagement in a culturally diverse and interdependent world!

We have many free events throughout March and April created by our very own student team – the Cultural Connectors! Want to learn how to say hello in multiple languages, learn how to make borscht and pierogi, or jam out at Open Mic Night? Look no further. We have designed a multitude of events to build community between both current and prospective Humber students as well as students from our global academic partner institutions. This is an opportunity to have fun connecting with friends around the globe, get creative and focus on intercultural learning.

Sessions will be ongoing throughout the Winter and Summer 2021 semesters, with new offerings in fall. We hope to see your students there.
