Jacqueline Anderson, Associate Director, Wellness and Development

The Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre is pleased to announce Jacqueline Anderson as the new Associate Director, Wellness and Development. Jacqueline has 20 years of diverse work experience including advanced practice nursing at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and most recently as a manager in an acute mental health care setting at Trillium Health Partners.

Over the years she has been a mental health nurse, community case manager, and faculty at Humber College. For the last five years Jacqueline has been responsible for leading evidenced based programs while focusing on continuous quality improvement and program development initiatives through leadership and consultation with diverse inter-professional teams and multiple stakeholders across the continuum of mental health services. She has been the manager of four inpatient units, two crisis teams in the Emergency Department and two urgent mental health response teams across two hospital sites (Mississauga Hospital and Credit Valley Site). Jacqueline is also cross-appointed as an adjunct lecturer with the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto from 2010-present.

Jacqueline is looking forward to being a part of the SWAC team and believes that holistic wellness services are paramount in enabling students to be successful in achieving their educational and career goals. Her first day at Humber will be September 12.
