Join the SDGs Launch as a Facilitator Mentor

We are looking for Humber staff and faculty to facilitate breakout sessions for the upcoming SDGs Launch for students and local youth.

All facilitator mentors are volunteer Humber staff and faculty. You will be invited to a Facilitator Mentor Training Workshop to prepare you for the breakout sessions.

To become a facilitator for the SDGs Launch, you must be available on Tuesday, March 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., and attend the mandatory Facilitator Mentor Training Workshop on March 17 from 12 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. (or commit to watching the training recording before the event date).

We encourage and welcome facilitator mentors from any faculty/department/unit. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and expand your Humber network!

To volunteer as a facilitator mentor, please fill out this short survey by Friday, March 5, 2021.

About the SDGs Launch:

The Office of Sustainability and Community Outreach Workplace Development (COWD), in partnership with Foundation for Environmental Stewardship, is hosting a two-day event, SDGs Launch, on Monday, March 22 and Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

The SDGs Launch presents students and community partners the opportunity to learn how to achieve the United Nations’ (UN) 17 SDGs, engage with a UN speaker, create change to build a movement, take action, and network with like-minded peers.

Interested staff and faculty are invited to participate in the two-day SDGs launch event.

Please register for the event here.
