The Mathematics Department is pleased to announce that Math HeadStart is now available on the MyOpenMath platform. The move from Blackboard to MyOpenMath allows us to extend access to not only current Humber students but to any learner who wishes to continue building on their skills in mathematics. This change allows new incoming students, current students and other interested knowledge seekers to gain access to our resources without requiring an active Student ID (N number). It’s as easy as signing-up with an email address and gaining immediate access to Math HeadStart.
Math HeadStart gives students access to tutorial videos, notes, practice questions, and skills quizzes to help them practice math topics such as:
- Numerical Computations
- Fractions
- Decimals
- Percent
- Algebra
- Geometry
- Graphing
Students can sign up for Business Math HeadStart or Technical Math HeadStart depending on their area of study/interest. Each focuses on the math skills students will need when entering a business program or technology program.
