We are excited to announce an ongoing initiative aimed at improving and enhancing our current budget development process. Humber has partnered with a vendor named Questica in order to design and implement a comprehensive budget software platform that will replace our current excel-based solution. We anticipate a fall 2021 launch so as to support the 2022-23 budget development process.  

Questica Budget is an all-inclusive budgeting tool that provides web-based budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capabilities. Questica has successfully implemented its budgeting solution at a number of post-secondary institutions across North America, including Sheridan College and the University of Toronto.  

Questica Budget will help enhance our annual budget development process, enabling increased collaboration between budget holders and the Financial Services & Planning departments. Additional features include reports and dashboards that will support and augment institutional decision-making. In addition, Questica Budget will host a comprehensive capital planning module to further enhance Humber’s capital projects and related planning. 

The executive sponsors of this project are Sanjay Puri, VP Administration and CFO, and Scott Briggs, Chief Information Officer. This solution is an integral part of Humber's commitment to a comprehensive Integrated Planning framework.
