New Cleaning Contractor at Humber

After a lengthy and rigorous competitive tender process, Facilities Management is pleased to announce Best Service Pros will be taking over the role of managing our cleaning contract from Sodexo at both North and Lakeshore campuses, as of July 13, 2019.

During the process, Facilities Management took the opportunity to significantly tighten up the specifications, including adding additional labour in strategic areas including weekends and event setups. In keeping with Humber’s commitment to operational stewardship and service excellence we have built performance indicators for quality control and cleanliness into the new contract, with a focus on quality assurance audits and satisfaction surveys to drive continuous improvement.

Provincial legislation under Bill 7 means that all cleaners and staff currently cleaning Humber must be offered a position under the new vendor, so you will not see many new faces.
