Humber Polytechnic continues to build research brilliance through bold ideas, deepening partnerships, and real-world impact.
Highlights from the 2024/2025 report:
- Humber Polytechnic ranked #5 nationally among Canada’s Top 50 Research Colleges and #1 in the GTA
- Achieved 840 per cent growth in Granting Council Research Income
- Led 106 research projects with 87 faculty researchers and 220 student research assistants (RAs)
- Forged partnerships with 206 organizations, including 134 SMEs, across public and private sectors
- Spearheaded Ontario’s hub in the national Labs4 initiative, accelerating research-to-commercialization
- Collaborated with the City of Calgary on North America’s first municipal ATSC 3.0 broadcast projects
- Partnered with LeddarTech to reimagine mobility through student-led design and advanced driver assistance technology
