Revised – PPCS Retirement Communication

ATTENTION

All recipients of the communication hereunder related to PPCS retirement, please note that the cutoff timeframes previously identified are being extended. 

The calendar communication regarding the PPCS message below is no longer valid.

You may continue to follow the current practices for NFT Contract Recruiting until further notice.

 


System Change Notice – PPCS will be retired on June 8

Departments will no longer be able to access PPCS to create contracts. Contracts not entered in PPCS by June 6, must be completed on hard copy contract forms and send to HR for processing. Contracts being worked on now, with a start date of June 23 onwards, must be held and entered on HRMS from June 24.

Contracts must be enterered in PPCS, or completed on hard copy contract forms.

HR will approve the contracts in PPCS.

Approved contracts must be printed, signed and sent to HR by June 6.
Contracts not in PPCS by June 6, should be completed on hard copy contract forms with accompanying Benefits Waiver Form (where applicable) used for Partial Load. Contracts must be signed and sent to HR by June 6.

Contracts entered in PPCS, will be approved by HR. Once approved, contracts must be printed, signed and sent to HR by June 6.

HR will activate benefits coverage or bridging for Partial Load contracts where required.
All NFT contracts must be entered in HRMS from June 24 onwards. Confirm that your manager has completed your delegation to allow you to perform this function.

Only hard copy contracts that require benefits bridging must be sent to HR with the Benefits Waiver Form.
