Humber Press is thrilled to announce the publication of the 2024 SPARK Special Issue!

In 2024, a group of 10 professional learners at Humber Polytechnic embarked on a rich learning and applied research experience as part of the inaugural Applied Research Program (ARP).

This special issue of SPARK showcases one example of the unique opportunities made possible by Humber Polytechnic’s growing ecosystem of research and innovation.

By focusing on the ARP professional learners’ journey, from working together in a collaborative setting to acquire knowledge on applied research practices to developing their real-world problem-solving skills, this issue is a testament to the power of collaboration, research and innovation.
