Employee Appreciation Day is tomorrow, March 7!
Thank you to all our faculty and staff members for the dedication you bring to your work and the support you provide to colleagues and students. Your efforts are the most important ingredient in Humber’s success, and without your commitment, our students wouldn’t have the same amazing opportunities to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve invited you to recognize colleagues across Humber who go above and beyond—and with this special milestone taking place tomorrow, it’s the perfect time to show your gratitude with a special gift.
By honouring a colleague with an extra special donation today, you will recognize their outstanding work while giving back to Humber students. Your support will mark this already meaningful day with generosity, gratitude and lasting impact, whether by directly supporting your faculty or department or choosing to make a difference through one of our other priorities, including:
- Supporting scholarships, bursaries and emergency funds—Gift a Humber education to students in need, helping them stay on track as they pursue their passions and bright future.
- Fighting student food insecurity— Provide direct subsidies to help students access food on campus while bolstering Humber’s efforts to conquer food insecurity.
- Empowering students in foster care—Help students in foster care (or “extended society care”) overcome their unique financial challenges while showing them we believe in their success.
Plus, when you celebrate a coworker for Employee Appreciation Day, you can also choose to send your honouree a personalized e-card to let them know that your donation was made and how their work is appreciated.
