Xbox Canada recently visited Humber Esports to learn more about the program’s innovative approach to competitive gaming, industry training, and student development.

During the visit, the Xbox Canada team met with Bernard Mafei, Senior Administrator of Humber Esports, to discuss the program's vision, growth, and its role in shaping inclusive pathways within Canada’s gaming ecosystem. Conversations with student staff and varsity players gave Xbox Canada a firsthand look at how Humber empowers students through esports, both on and off the digital stage.

The visit reflects a shared commitment to creating accessible opportunities in gaming, fostering community, and developing career-ready skills across broadcasting, marketing, operations, and competitive play.
