Hello Humber Community,
I am writing to share, with mixed emotions, that Dr. Yasmin Razack, Dean of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB), will be leaving her role at Humber, with her last official day being June 2, 2025.
As the inaugural Dean of EDIB, she has been a driving force in embedding inclusion and belonging into our institutional fabric. Under her leadership, we have strengthened our EDIB commitments through cross-campus collaboration and deepened community engagement.
We are grateful for her contributions and the positive impact she has had on our community and partners. As Yasmin moves on to new opportunities, we wish her every success in her future endeavors.
In the interim, Kimberly Daniels will step into the role of Acting Dean of EDIB while we begin the process to post and recruit for the permanent position. I want to extend a sincere thank you to Kimberly for her leadership and willingness to take on this important role during the transition.
If you have any immediate questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out to myself.
