WASTED ON THE YOUNG was written specifically for the 2011 graduating class of the Theatre Performance program, School of Creative and Performing Arts, by Governor General Award nominee David Yee and is directed by Nina Lee Aquino, Artistic Director of Cahoots Theatre.  The play, set in contemporary Toronto, tells the stories of an interrelated multicultural city through the lives of young people and their families.

Performed by the Theatre Performance graduates with design and technical support from the Theatre Production students, WASTED ON THE YOUNG will inaugurate the 2011 season in Humber�۪s new Black Box Theatre.

The only ten-minute play festival in Canada is being presented by students in the Comedy Writing & Performance program, Humber School of Creative & Performing Arts.

A total of 20 ten-minute plays, written and performed by students, will be showcased over a period of two days. Faculty input, of course, is a given.

According to Andrew Clark, program director, ���Humber Comedy�۪s ten-minute plays are short bursts of drama, designed to delight and amuse. Each one is as individual as a fingerprint.�۝
