Learn the importance of choosing the right name and creating a memorable corporate identity that will both serve you and that you can protect, and understand how to effectively communicate your brand to all your markets across all media.

May Cheng of the multinational law firm, Fasken Martineau will be presenting on how to create brand images from an IP context. The event will also assist entrepreneurs on how to properly protect proprietary interests by registering trademarks for strategic brand management.

All Humber employees who have attended Humber’s human rights training session prior to August 2008, are required to attend a ‘Pathways to Human Rights, Education & Action’ training session. This includes sessional, contract, part-time, full-time, and work-study employees.

Goal of the Workshop:

To increase and reinforce employees’ awareness of Humber’s Human Rights Policy and its implications for action

Participants at the workshop will:

  1. Increase their understanding of key Human Rights terms and concepts in order to more effectively prevent, recognize and respond to human rights related allegations;
  2. Receive resources that will assist in enhancing inclusion at Humber; and
  3. Receive an overview of Humber’s Human Rights Policy.

To facilitate your attendance, training sessions will be offered throughout the 2013/2014 academic year. The next available training sessions will be offered on the following dates:
