Many people struggle with reading for understanding. In this workshop, students will learn about different reading styles. They will also be introduced to reading strategies that will help them get the most of the material they read.

Creating and maintaining professional boundaries can be difficult when dealing with adult students. While professional boundaries related to education of minors is well documented, there is less information available for those that teach postsecondary students. Learn professional boundary standards appropriate to any program or teacher and student relationship.

More info: The Visual Storytelling Club is an extra-curricular activity for students enrolled in Humber's Community Integration through Cooperative Education program, which gives adults with intellectual disabilities a college experience.
