On August 23, 2017, 125 industry executives, small business owners, academics and government representatives came together in Makassar, Indonesia to share ideas on how to support the growth of small and medium enterprises in the region. The event marked the closing of the Sulawesi Economic Development Project (SEDS), a five-year capacity-building initiative funded by Global Affairs and led by Humber College, in partnership with seven universities in Sulawesi.
As mentioned in the April 10 and July 13 Communiqué, the Government of Canada will discontinue the sale of Canada Savings Bonds (CSBs) purchased through the Payroll Savings Program as of November 2017.

Lawrence Ong, is the new Chartwells General Manager, responsible for all Chartwells food outlets at the North and Lakeshore Campuses! He brings a wealth of knowledge to the team with over 30 years industry experience previously operating the successful dining program at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario.

There will be an information session for the Ontario Internship Program held on September 20th in A 170, Lakeshore Campus, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A representative from Ontario Public Works will be coming to Humber to speak to students/graduates about their 2-year internship program.
