I am very pleased to announce that Nelia Louro will be joining us as the CTI Coordinator, Applied Research & Innovation. Nelia will be responsible for the coordination of all customer service, building operations, and administration functions related to the CTI. She will also be accountable for coordinating, scheduling, tracking and monitoring off all activities within the CTI building and will support the development and implementation of effective administrative procedures.

Applied Research & Innovation Funding Opportunity: SSHRC Partnership Engage Grants

The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) has recently introduced Partnership Engage Grants to better address the short-term needs, challenges and opportunities of researchers and institutions. The grants will have a value of between $7,000 and $25,000, and strongly emphasize the relevance to, and involvement of, partner organizations.
