The School of Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism is pleased to announce that James Bodanis, Program Coordinator for the Cook Apprenticeship, has been granted the Chair’s Award of Excellence by the Ontario College of Trades. The Chair’s Award of Excellence honours individuals or organizations that have made an outstanding contribution to skilled trades and apprenticeship training in Ontario.

Moral rights protect the integrity of a work and the reputation of its creator. Economic rights include the exclusive right to reproduce an entire work or any substantial part of the work.
School of Media Studies & I.T. professor Dr. Steven May recently presented a talk entitled "OTA’s Riposte: Delivery of TVO Programming in Post-Access Ontario" at the Canadian Communication Association (CCA) annual conference as part of the 2017 Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences held at Ryerson. Dr. May will be applying to CULTIVATE in Fall 2017 to continue his research into TVO in an age of public service media.
