Copyright Tip: You Can “Mash-Up” Content for Your Students

The “Mash-Up” exception was added to the Copyright Act in 2012 and allows users to combine two or more works in the creation and distribution of a new work. This means that you can combine and modify short excerpts, Internet content and music or video clips as long as the original sources are from the copyright holder and the sources are cited.

Continuing Education in the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is piloting a new workshop, "Math for Moms and Dads (How to Tutor Your Children)" and is looking for volunteers to take the workshop and provide some feedback.
