The Orientation Team within Student Success and Engagement (SSE) is excited to announce that Orientation will be in-person for the coming winter term! Thank you to our academic faculty and campus partners for supporting Orientation in all the forms it has taken for the past several semesters. We are excited to work with you all to plan and deliver programming to support student success.

Although we are returning to in-person program delivery, we will also continue to share the incredible online resources that the Humber community has created over the past year to support system navigation and promote creative virtual engagement.

Here is the outline for Winter 2022 Orientation:

• December: We will launch our video-based Online Orientation Blackboard module, available to all incoming students for the entirety of the winter term. This module will strengthen students' knowledge of the supports and resources that are available to help them succeed at Humber while also welcoming them to take part in the in-person Orientation components we are so excited to offer.
   
• January 6 to 7: We will host Academic Orientation with our Meet Your Faculty sessions. These sessions will be in-person, on campus. We will be reaching out directly to Faculty in the next few weeks regarding more information and the next steps.
   
• January 1 to-31: Orientation, working with our Campus Partners, will offer a full month of Welcome Events for students. Our programming will focus on well-being and social connection, and we will continue to promote services and resources available to students.
