Humber Archives is proud to announce our latest in-person archival exhibition, “Selections from the Humber School for Writers Archives.” The archival material on display was repatriated to Humber earlier this year from the University of Toronto Archives, and represents the 30 year history of the Humber School for Writers.
We encourage you to stop by the North Library (4th floor of the LRC) during opening hours to view photographs, news coverage, and speeches made by many of the faculty who have participated in the program and learn more about the important cultural impact this program has had in Canada. Faculty highlighted in the display include authors Wayson Choy, Paul Quarrington, Miriam Toews, M.G. Vassanji and Olive Senior among others.
We also encourage you to explore the online Finding Aid Humber Archives staff have created for this unique resource to learn more about the history of the program and the scope of the collection, and explore some additional digitized materials from the archives.
