Midterms Winter 2023

A few updates for this semester:

• The exam window has been reduced from 14 days to seven days.
• Test submissions no longer need to be completed three days in advance; instructors can create a test submission on the same day. Learners still require 48 hours advance notice to book.
• We recommending using Release Conditions on Blackboard to select the specific learners in your course who can see the Testing Services Link and make an appointment in the Test Centre. More information can be found in our handbook on pages 9-11.
• Both accommodated learners and non-accommodated learners are able to take their exams in the Test Centre. Non-accommodated learners can book their appointments through the same Testing Services Link. 

Test Centre Reminders

1. For learners to be able to schedule an exam in the Test Centre, faculty must first submit a test to the Test Centre.​ Learners will not be able to make an appointment without a test being available first.
2. To learn how to submit a test on Blackboard or CourseLink, please watch this short instructional video or review our handbook.
3. Once you have submitted your test, the Test Centre team will review it within one business day. Once it has been approved, you will recieve an automatic email. You can then let learners know that they are able to book their exam by clicking on the Testing Services link. Learners require 48 hours advance notice to book.
