Next storage clean-up date: Friday, September 29, 2023. 

On that date, all Live, DEVU, and MSTR courses from Winter 2022 and Summer 2022 will be deleted from Humber systems. This includes all Banner- and Destiny 1-generated courses.

Please note the future dates for this academic year:

• January 31, 2024 - All Live, DEVU and MSTR courses from Fall 2022 will be deleted from Humber systems. 
• May 31, 2024 - All Live, DEVU and MSTR courses from Winter 2023 will be deleted from Humber systems.

System clean-ups are scheduled following good practices for data and storage management. Humber's practice is to retain past courses for one year plus one semester (e.g. last year's Fall 2022 courses will be retained through the current Fall 2023 semester. These are accessible to profs under "past courses" in Bb until the time of deletion at the start of Winter 2024).

IL recommends faculty back up and archive Blackboard courses at the end of each semester. Most sites take no more than 10 minutes to archive. OneDrive is available to all faculty for file storage. 

Tip: OneDrive is also a helpful resource when sharing course files with multiple instructors at the start of each semester, and saves everyone the potential hassle of trying to share content from within Blackboard courses.
