Innovative Learning is hosting a number of Lunch & Learns for faculty in the Winter 2024 semester. This initiative is an excellent opportunity for faculty to connect, get inspired, and engage in topic-focused teaching and learning conversations. 

Please join us either virtually or in-person. A light lunch will be provided for the in-person sessions.

What does it mean to be inclusive? How do you foster accessibility? In this session, we’ll explore how to plan for inclusion and make meaningful steps towards creating an environment that’s accessible to all. 

You & AI
Where is the line on the use of generative AI in assessment? In this session, we’ll consider evolving AI applications in assessment and explore assessment design frameworks to inspire the purposeful and strategic integration of AI for pedagogical innovation.   

Feedback That Fuels
In this session, we’ll explore strengths-based feedback models that fuel positive student growth. We’ll build your feedback toolkit with actionable strategies designed to empower you and your students.  

The Word of the Year
Merriam-Webster has named “authentic” the Word of the Year. In this session, we’ll build off that declaration to explore the nuances and applications of “authentic assessment” across disciplinary contexts.
