Information for Faculty
- Please ensure exams are submitted in a timely manner so learners can schedule their appointments. The Testing Services booking link must be visible in your course.
- If learners experience issues booking (Humber or Guelph-Humber), advise them to contact Testing Services well in advance.
- All exams must be scheduled at least 36 hours in advance. Please do not send learners to the Test Centre without an appointment. We operate strictly on an appointment-based system, and learners cannot book until an exam submission has been approved.
- Test files must be attached to your submission. Submissions with placeholder or missing files will not be approved.
- If an incorrect test has been uploaded or revisions are required, please do not send amended files on the day of the exam or within three hours of the exam start time. These will not be edited or re-approved.
- Dropped-off exams will not be accepted. All exams must be submitted through the Test Submission Portal.
- In the Manage Campus section of the submission form, please select the alternate campus when possible. During peak periods, North Campus may reach capacity, and this allows learners the option to write at Lakeshore.
- Please ensure the Testing Services link is integrated for both campuses, regardless of where you teach. If this is not completed and the North Campus is at capacity, test centre will be unable to register learners at the Lakeshore Campus.
- Lockdown Browser must be disabled for learners with remote invigilation accommodation as well as learners, who might need to use Read and Write or any other reader software.
- Faculty are strongly encouraged to provide a physical copy of the exam, even if the test is delivered through Blackboard or CourseLink. This helps prevent delays and ensures accessibility for learners using reader software.
- Learners are not permitted to use personal computers at the Test Centre.
- Learners will no longer be allowed to contact faculty once an exam has started, including calling instructors for clarification.
