Humber Men's Soccer Claims 11th CCAA National Championship

Ten years after their legendary short-handed championship win at Seaway Park, the Humber Hawks men’s soccer team returned to the same pitch and once again captured national glory, defeating the host Champlain Saint-Lambert Cavaliers 2–1 in the 2025 CCAA gold medal match.

The victory marked Humber’s 11th national title—and ninth since 2012—cementing its status as the most dominant program in Canadian collegiate soccer. The story tied together the program’s proud lineage, from Hall of Famer Germain Sanchez and dynasty-builder Michael Aquino to new head coach Jason Mesa, who has been a member for ten of Humber's national titles.
