In celebration of International Education Week (IEW), the International Development Institute (IDI) is proud to share the team’s August 2025 trip to Kenya, demonstrating global engagement, partnership, and learner success.

The delegation included Clarisse Estebar, manager, Programs and STEEP Project Lead, Mauro Mazuera, Graphic and Media Design Specialist, Tiffany Duong, Content and Communications Lead, and Akmal Samsor, former Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst. The group travelled to Kenya as part of the STEM Education for Empowerment Project (STEEP).

Embodying Humber’s Building Brilliance guiding pillars and building blocks, the team showed human spirit and creativity to drive positive change, deepening partnerships to strengthen community impact, and driving impact that support long-term sustainability.
