I loved the colours and the contrast, I was so captivated by the colours that I did some research and found that this flower's name is "Scarlet Star" and it grows in Brazil. This is a resilient flower, it grows in dry and arid conditions. I wanted to make two accounts for two different fictional characters and have them post pictures on it as if they were real people. I want their "pictures" to hold certain easter eggs, in the background or on their captions that will lead to the both of them meeting for the first time. Initially when I took this photo It was when I started taking film photography and I was not very happy with the results of the image but as I look back it's one of my favourites I took. It also displays a time when I would go to this forest trail often to walk and clear my mind. I relate the low exposure of this photo to the void of the unknown a deep forest can make you feel. The town is nestled in a forest and has a timeless quality that feels unaffected by the world. In this shot, through the window of the local art gallery; is a family on a Sunday morning walk. I see the decreasingly sized windows as a representation of time, and what time the family members have left. The child who has the most time, chooses to take the path less traveled and enjoy the sun and the feel of the grass.
