Tiffany Kong

“I studied International Development Studies at McGill University and studied Practical Nursing at George Brown College. While I was looking for the fastest way to become a RN as it is my dream and goal, I found this amazing 2nd entry program at Humber College. Throughout the session, I realized that there are many different types of programs at Humber College (i.e. 2nd entry and bridging program). I have learned the eligibility and length of the programs and also the presenters were very informative and confidently provided all the answers to the questions I had. For those who are interested in 2nd entry program and bridging program, I strongly recommend that you must attend this session!”

Alumni Experiences

"After graduating from Humber College’s Occupational Therapy Assistant/ Physiotherapy Assistant program in 2016 and working in the field for a few years, I was left with a passion to continue my education. I came across Humber College’s Bachelor of Health Sciences (Workplace Health and Wellness) program and was immediately drawn. The program was exactly what I was looking for and Humber College provided a great transfer pathway from my OTA/PTA program. Now that I am in my 4th year of the Bachelor of Health Science program, I am looking forward to graduating and working within the field of health and wellness."

Alexander Lefebvre

"I graduated from Humber in 2014. Upon graduation, Humber helped me get a coop with TTC and that’s where I currently work fulltime as a Foreperson for Streetcar Maintenance. There was already a talked that Humber will offer a bachelor’s in engineering, so I waited until 2020. I thought Humber will never open the Engineering program. So, I ended up enrolling at Sheridan with their new Bachelor of Engineering program. I did not feel at home at Sheridan, so when I saw a poster in one of the TTC busses that Humber is starting their Engineering program. I did not hesitate to start my application to transfer to Humber. I am now part of the Bachelor of Engineering – Mechatronics program of Humber."

Gerald Jacob

"Humber’s transfer options made continuing my education while working full-time possible! I started at Humber in the Media Foundation program to ensure I was going to take the right Advanced Diploma program for me and was a beneficial transition into college as I was the first year without Grade 13/OAC. Not only did it confirm that Journalism was what I wanted to take, it also introduced me to Public Relations. I went on to complete my degree in Communication Studies at a distance education university. Now, I am happily back at Humber for their Creative Writing - Fiction, Creative Non-Fiction, Poetry Postgraduate program to write my book on living your best life. I also completed part-time courses in the Photography certificate and obtained the Teaching Effectiveness certificate."
