Broadcasting-Radio graduate George Stroumboulopoulos earned a 2024 Premier's Award in Creative Arts and Design as a globally renowned Canadian media personality and devoted humanitarian. George reached Billboard Music Canada's 2024 Power Players List as one of the most powerful and influential people in the music industry and was appointed to the Order of Canada in 2023 for his leading contributions to Canadian media and journalism.

'Superfan' Nav Bhatia earned a 2025 Honorary Degree as a symbol of resilience, a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist, a global ambassador for diversity and inclusion, and for his impact on community and culture. Through the Nav Bhatia Superfan Foundation, he has sparked influential change by spearheading initiatives dear to his heart, including uniting people through sport and creating safe educational spaces for young girls and women in India.
The Honourable Kirsty Duncan received a 2025 Honorary Degree, recognizing her five terms of service in federal office and her work as a scientist leading an Arctic expedition to investigate the cause of the 1918 influenza pandemic. Her accolades include the Knowledge Millennium Award from the India Chamber of Commerce and the Pioneer in Healthcare Policy Award from the Society for Brain Mapping and Therapeutics in the United States.
Former NHL player and coach Ted Nolan received a 2025 Honorary Degree as an accomplished Indigenous Canadian and a proud member of the Garden River First Nation in northern Ontario. Through the Ted Nolan Foundation, he supports the educational and athletic aspirations of female First Nations students across Canada, while also bringing the game of hockey and fundamental life skills to First Nation youth through 3-Nolans, alongside his sons.
