Geoffrey Lyon Legacy Scholarship

Geoffrey Lyon was a beloved Humber student who graduated with honours from the Hospitality Management Diploma program and who was continuing his education with a degree in hospitality when he suddenly passed away in 2017. He was dearly loved in his program by his teachers and fellow students alike. He carried the persona of a very humble person, one who strived to support and serve others in all situations. Geoffrey was above all a people person – people were his priority in life and he lived to ensure that everyone whose life he touched was cared for and loved. In Geoffrey’s honour and memory, his loved ones created this award to acknowledge a similar student with these qualities.
