Humber, in partnership with OntarioLearn, is pleased to offer the Teacher/Trainer of Adults certificate program as an online learning program. This certificate will train you to teach or facilitate adults in any capacity. Whether you teach in a formal classroom setting, facilitate seminars, train employees, or teach a general interest program to adults, you will be well equipped to meet the needs of all of your adults learners. The first course, Adult Learning, will begin your studies by exploring the nature of adult learners, their learning styles, needs and characteristics, and analyze what makes teachers effective. You will then address cirtical apects in course delivery.
Note: Humber is a registering college and Durham is host college for this certificate program.

Admission Requirements
- 19 years of age OR completed Ontario Secondary School Diploma OR Grade 12 Equivalency certificate achieve through College academic upgrading
- entire certificate must be completed within 5 years
