Program Overview
The Artificial Intelligence – Integration and Governance graduate certificate provides opportunities for a broad range of students to gain a working knowledge of artificial intelligence, as well as skills applicable to a variety of sectors. Students are not required to have prior technical education or experience related to computing technology or programming. They are introduced to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and the applicable tools with a significant focus on regulations, policy and ethics in applying AI technology. Artificial intelligence has intersections with every sector including justice studies, media and creative arts, biomedical sciences, business, economics, and data analytics. Key program content includes project management, tool usage and integration, regulations and legislation, misinformation policies, deepfake, synthetic data, ethical implications, cybercrime, among others. The program ends with an industry-supervised capstone project.
