Building Brilliance

Humber has been a leader in education for over 57 years but recent challenges, such as the pandemic and Canada’s ongoing productivity crisis, have highlighted the need for change. As industries transform, educational institutions must adapt to support this shift. We recognize our pivotal role in shaping Canada's future by developing skilled individuals, fostering partnerships, and driving sustainable growth. To address these challenges we needed a blueprint, one that reflects our potential to lead the charge in Canada’s recovery. In September 2023, we launched "Humber Inspired," a community-wide initiative inviting input from faculty, staff, students, and industry partners to collectively define the next direction of Humber. We captured over 3,000 ideas which became the cornerstone of Humber’s vision.
