About:
The University College Denmark (UCL) School of Nursing offers a four-week Work-Integrated Learning placement in Odense, Denmark, taking place in Spring 2027 for third-year, Semester 6 RPN-to-BScN and Direct Entry BScN students. This international placement provides supervised clinical and academic learning within Denmark’s healthcare system, allowing students to develop cross-cultural competence and engage in evidence-based nursing practice.

  • Course: BSCN 3607
  • GPA: 75%

Expenses

  • $328 enrollment fee. Tuition paid to Humber only
  • Students are responsible for flights, visas accommodations, meals, etc.
  • All students are invited to apply for a bursary upon nomination

Placement Details

  • Placement may be in surgical and medicine wards (e.g. Neurosurgical intensive ward, heart diseases ward, Abdominal surgical ward, children ward etc.)
  • Placement may be in the municipality (e.g., at a home, nursing home or rehab. home/center.
  • Opportunity to work alongside Danish students and within the Danish community

Additional Information

  • Checks may include criminal record and MRSA
  • Housing through UCL partner Southern Denmark University (SDU)
  • Visas may be required
  • Valid Residence Permit required before entry
