About:

The Summer School in Sustainable Marketing will provide you with an understanding of why and how companies can work towards a more sustainable business concept. Furthermore, the course is centered around business‐driven social responsibility and gives you the knowledge and tools to take CSR/Sustainability from talk to action. You will get a unique opportunity to obtain new knowledge, while learning to solve real-life problems related to the UN’s 17 SDGs and to Sustainable Marketing through problem-based learning.

Earn Humber Elective Credit:

Earn transfer credit to satisfy one GNED course (diploma) or lower-level breadth elective (SCC Category) course (Degree) from Humber. Please note the restrictions/eligibility for each course.

Restriction Note:

All students in the programs below are not eligible to take this summer abroad course:

  • All Bachelor of Commerce degrees
  • Bachelor of Creative Advertising
  • Business Marketing Diploma
  • Advertising and Marketing Communications Diploma

What is Included in the Program Fee?

  • On-campus accommodation in shared two-bedroom apartments
  • Meals: Welcome and farewell dinner and two lunches during the course
  • Social activities/trips and company visits
  • Electronic graduation certificate
  • Travel health insurance for the program dates, arranged by Humber
  • Summer tuition fees are waived at Humber and normal tuition will be due for Fall semester

What is Not Included in the Program Fee?

  • Round trip airfare (book your own flights)
  • Activity fees and meals outside of those included in the program itinerary
  • Incidentals, spending money
  • Baggage and trip cancellation insurance, if desired
  • Associated visa costs, if applicable
  • Humber transfer credit fees ($25.00 per course, upon completion)
