Vietnam: Dania Academy

About:

At this two-week summer school in Ho Chi Minh City, we will focus on learning both culture and business skills. We will visit local and international companies as well as relevant public institutions. At our partner university HUTECH University of Technology you will attend lectures on Vietnamese economy, law, trade agreements and general business environment.

You will also be part of workshops on Vietnamese language and culture and cooking school, all which will strengthen the international level in your education. During the summer school, you will work with like-minded and curious students from Denmark, Vietnam and other international students, and you will analyze local business opportunities to develop new business ideas. In short: You will work firsthand with "Doing Business in Vietnam".

Earn Humber Elective Credit:

Take 1 course at Dania Academy - Vietnam and earn transfer credit to satisfy one GNED course (diploma) or lower-level breadth elective course.
GNED or lower-level Breadth (SCC Category).

What is Included in the Program Fee?

• Course fee
• Workshops on Vietnamese language and culture
• Social activities/trips and company visits
• Electronic graduation certificate
• Travel health insurance for the program dates, arranged by Humber
• Summer tuition fees are waived and normal tuition will be due for the Fall 2025 semester

What is Not Included in the Program Fee?

• Accommodation at Huong Sen Hotel in the city
• Round trip airfare (book your own flights)
• Meals
• Incidentals, spending money
• Baggage and trip cancellation insurance, if desired
• Associated visa costs, if applicable
• Humber transfer credit fees ($25.00 per course, upon completion) Note: Program details and inclusions are subject to change

Accommodation

We will be staying at the Huong Sen Hotel in the city center. 2024 prices were: 45 EUR for a single, 55 EUR for a double, 65 EUR for a triple room – incl. breakfast. You are free to choose any other accommodation.
