Education, capacity building, and resource sharing are central to Humber’s Well-being Strategy. Explore some of the innovative tools and supports that we've developed to foster a healthier, more supportive post-secondary community. These resources are designed specifically for staff and educators to help integrate well-being into their work and learning environments.
Decision Support Tool for Reviewing Policies and Procedures Through a Mental Health Lens
We understand that campus experiences—whether through policies, practices, or environments—can influence the mental health of both learners and employees.
The Decision Support Tool for Reviewing Policies and Procedures Through a Mental Health Lens helps leaders consider the mental health impacts of institutional/team decisions. It’s a tool designed to promote thoughtful, well-being-centered approaches when developing or reviewing policies and procedures.
Even when mental health impacts aren’t obvious, they can still exist. This framework supports more intentional, supportive decision-making—helping create a healthier campus for all.
To connect on how you can utilize the tool to fit your team’s needs, contact Jinhee (Jin) Lee at jinhee.lee@humber.ca.
