Developed through faculty consultation, research, and reflection, the Faculty Attributes Framework serves as both a recognition of the expertise that Humber faculty already bring to their roles and a guide for ongoing professional growth. Grounded in Humber’s institutional values, which include equity, diversity and inclusion, sustainability, innovation, courage, and a commitment to student success, the framework reflects a shared vision for transformative education.

The Faculty Attributes framework is intended to inspire reflective practice, support continuous learning, and celebrate the diverse contributions of all Humber faculty. It also serves as a foundation for fostering student success and aligning teaching practices with Humber’s priorities in a rapidly evolving educational landscape.
