Available session types:
Interactive Panel (45 minutes):
This interactive panel session encourages faculty to share their
insights and practices on how they are defining the polytechnic identity
at Humber. Faculty presenters are welcome to include their student
co-researchers if applicable. These sessions are an opportunity for the
Humber community to engage in dynamic discussions on the evolving
landscape of education and the polytechnic experience.
Interactive Workshop (45 minutes):
Share a component of your teaching practice that you’ve developed,
guiding your colleagues and inspiring them to use your experience as a
model for their own innovations. Workshop topics could include
innovative teaching and learning practices, collaborations with industry
partners, real-world interdisciplinary projects, ways to foster
inclusive learning environments, opportunities to create diverse
learning experiences and strategies for enhancing student workforce
readiness and long-term success. Note: If you are offering a session in
a specialty lab or classroom, you are responsible for confirming space
availability and making the booking in advance.
Exhibit Centre (90 minutes):

interactive community space. The Exhibit Booth provides Faculties and
Departments with the opportunity to showcase recent, current, or
upcoming Humber projects and initiatives. This year, exhibitors are
encouraged to emphasize the key areas of poly.technic. It’s a fantastic
opportunity to bring the Humber community together for conversation,
sharing, and networking.
Posters (90 minutes):
This is an interactive session to showcase your research or Teaching and
Learning Innovation Fund project, to engage with attendees and have
informal discussions.
