The arts exist as a space to produce new learning opportunities for society, particularly in the management and production of events that promote greater inclusivity. The Ballroom is a growing community offering a unique performance space to specifically empower those who identify as LGBTQ2+ and racialized. This project aims to identify what role the Arts Administration & Cultural Management program and its arts management learners can have in advancing the goals of a Ballroom subculture at the post-secondary and post-graduate level. Also, if possible, based on student and partner consultations, develop a partnership plan which will launch in 2024.
