Application for 2021-22

Applications for the Academic Year 2021-22 opened on February 1, 2021.
Priority for residence spaces for the 2021-22 Academic Year is being given to students who have courses delivered on site, or students who have been deemed to have exceptional circumstances. Students are encouraged to apply for residence as soon as possible, as we are now at a wait list and spaces will be offered to eligible students in the order in which the applied.
To apply for residence for Fall 2021 admissions, students must complete and submit a residence application. Students who meet the criteria for residence admission will be offered spaces in the order in which they applied. Residence offers will be emailed to the student's email on file. For Humber students, this is the email listed on your MyHumber account, and for University of Guelph-Humber, this is the email that you provided with your residence application. Students will have 24 hours to accept the offer and pay the $500 deposit to confirm their room.
Students who do not meet the eligibility requirement will be notified by email. Students who are not eligible for residence in the Fall may become eligible for Winter, and will be required to apply separately for Winter when the Winter 2022 application is available, which will open on October 27, 2021.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff is always our top priority. We are hopeful that provincial and public health directives will allow us to relax some of these restrictions, however please note that certain measures will be in place in the residence until further notice in order to help reduce the potential spread of COVID-19, which can be found here: https://humber.ca/residence/updates.
It is our expectation that all students who are able to be vaccinated have at least the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the Government of Canada prior to moving into residence and commit to obtaining a second dose for vaccines that require it, no later than Friday, October 8, 2021. Students who are unable to receive a vaccination will be required to obtain approval for a medical or human rights exemption prior to moving in.
