Thank You for a Successful Honey Harvest Event

The Office of Sustainability would like to thank each and every participant at our mini Honey Harvest and tea party event. We were successfully able to harvest 110 jars!

The honey was from last fall and had not been used by the bees. It was harvested from our North Campus apiaries early this summer and our beekeepers returned the wet frames for the bees to use for this year’s crop.

We unveiled our new labels featuring eight different honey bee facts to help educate us about the many virtues of honey bees.
