Applied Research & Innovation Funding Opportunity: SSHRC Partnership Engage Grants

The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) has recently introduced Partnership Engage Grants to better address the short-term needs, challenges and opportunities of researchers and institutions. The grants will have a value of between $7,000 and $25,000, and strongly emphasize the relevance to, and involvement of, partner organizations.

Part-Time Staff Parking Permits (Fall Semester) on Sale July 4, 2017

Part-time staff semester parking permits for the fall semester will be on sale effective Tuesday, July 4th. Please log in to your MyHumber to purchase your permit.

A reminder to part-time staff at North campus that your staff ID card will be activated automatically for September through December 2017 after you purchase your parking permit. This card will be your gate access card for the North campus part time staff Lot 4.

James Bodanis Granted the Chair’s Award of Excellence

The School of Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism is pleased to announce that James Bodanis, Program Coordinator for the Cook Apprenticeship, has been granted the Chair’s Award of Excellence by the Ontario College of Trades. The Chair’s Award of Excellence honours individuals or organizations that have made an outstanding contribution to skilled trades and apprenticeship training in Ontario.
