Accessible Learning Services shares some best practices considerations:
-
Students may have one test/exam per day and/or have a day between tests/exams listed as a disability-related accommodation on their Accommodation Letter.
-
Students with this accommodation may submit a request to faculty to write a test/exam on an alternate date when there is more than one assessment scheduled on the same day or if assessments are scheduled on consecutive days.
-
Students may be absent for disability-related reasons on the day of a scheduled test/exam.
-
Consider creating an alternate version of each test/exam that can be used during the semester as needed to address accommodations related to absences and/or requests for alternate test/exam dates.
