If you have seen the H Cup Mountain in the LRC Concourse at North Campus, then you know that this is why The Office of Sustainability has been collecting paper cups for the past month. Everyday approximately 7,000 paper cups are sold at Humber. That means that every week 35,000 paper cups are sent to a landfill! Paper cups are NOT recyclable in Toronto or at Humber because of their wax lining. Let's work together to #DitchTheDisposable and start drinking from reusable cups.
