Events Will Continue to Be Prohibited on Humber Campuses Until the End of the Fall Term

Earlier in the fall, we announced new guidelines around guests, events and temporary use of space. Since then, the decision was made to prohibit events, either internal or external on any Humber campus or location until at least the end of the fall 2021 term.

As a reminder, below are the definitions of an in-person meeting and an event. 

Definitions 

  • In-person meeting 
    • An in-person meeting is for the purpose of conducting/discussing Humber business.  
  • Event 
    • An event is a gathering for social or celebratory purposes.

Additional information about how events will be handled in the winter term will shared as decisions are made.
