Exploring the Implementation of Education for Sustainability as Perceived by Participants at one Ontario College/ITAL
Dear Humber Faculty/Staff,
I am inviting you to participate in my research study titled “Exploring the Implementation of Education for Sustainability as Perceived by Participants at one Ontario College/ITAL.” I am conducting this study in partial fulfillment of the requirements for a PhD degree at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto.
The purpose of this study is to explore and describe the state of the implementation of sustainable education - what works and what does not, and why or why not, in the study site. I will explore the perceptions of directly involved key informants (faculty and students) and administrators as their roles relate to the focus of this research. The goal is to enhance our understanding of the sustainability focused education problem and foster empowerment, help and alignment of policies and practices with results that matter.
I am inviting you to participate in this study as you represent a key stakeholder point of view in the college (student, faculty, administration and management).
Please review the attached documents and let me know by any means if you have any questions and if you are willing to participate in this important study.Once I hear from you, I will contact you to negotiate a time that works for both of us for the interview on Zoom.
Thank you,
Rossie Kadiyska
