On Thursday, May 26th, flags at our campuses will be lowered to half-mast in memory of Connor Beck. Connor was in the Police Foundations Program. He passed away on May 12th and there will be a memorial service on May 26th at Meadowvale Funeral Center in Brampton.

The Humber community is deeply saddened by Connor’s sudden and untimely death.  The College has been in contact with Connor’s family to express our condolences, and will continue to provide support to faculty, staff and students who knew him. As an acknowledgment of Connor’s significant progress towards completing his program, Humber will be awarding his diploma posthumously to his family in his honour. It is clear from conversations with Connor’s family that he made an incredible impact on the lives of those he came in contact with and in his community.
