Humber’s Annual Employee Holiday Party - Adventure Under the Northern Lights!

Get ready for Humber’s Annual Employee Holiday Party on Saturday, November 30 at Lakeshore Campus from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.! Join us for a magical holiday experience, featuring a variety of activities for all ages.  

Activities for Adults and Teens:  

  • Mixology Class: Learn how to craft a festive “mocktail”. 
  • Planting Workshop: Learn about our relationship to plants from an Indigenous perspective and start a new plant from cuttings that you can take home. 

Games and Activities for Kids:  

  • Trackless Train: Hitch a ride on our festive trackless train.  
  • Face Painter: Get a creative and memorable custom face painting. 
  • Childcare Room & ‘Book Nook’ provided by the Humber Libraries: A fun space for children to play, with 30-minute "read aloud" storytelling sessions scheduled throughout the day. 

 Activities for All Ages:  

  • Idea Lab Paper Circuit Activity: A paper circuit activity to bring home your own light up creation.     
  • Cookie Decorating: Design your very own holiday cookie. 
  • Festive Snacks and two Food Trucks on site 
  • Yoga: Take a movement break with Humber Athletics  
  • Holiday Photo Station: Capture precious moments with your family and friends. 
  • Drop-in Crafting Station 
  • Lava Rush Slide: Swoosh into the season on our gigantic inflatable slide!  

Below is a list of workshops and classes that will have limited capacity on the day of the event. Registration for these workshops will open on November 14th and close on November 26th . After this date, the workshops will be first come, first served on the day of the event.  

This event is free; however, we encourage attendees to bring a non-perishable food item or a brand new, unwrapped toy to donate to those in need in our local community. This year all food items will be donated to Humber Polytechnic’s ‘Grab ‘N Go’ food bank, which supports the Humber student community.
